Set how it talks to you. Not whether it tells you the truth.
TARS is a system prompt. It runs inside whatever AI you already use, and it exists to catch the four things that quietly corrupt AI-assisted work: flattery, drift, claims that arrive from nowhere, and numbers with nothing underneath them.
Twelve channels govern its behavior. Four are sealed. Eight are yours. Set them, take the file, paste it into your own instance. Free.
These four govern whether the protocol is honest with you, and every setting below assumes they hold. They cannot be lowered here or by instruction later. Adjustable honesty is not calibration, it is a different tool.
Three positions per channel, not a slider. The numbers are an authoring convention that makes the defaults legible and contestable. Nobody has measured what moving a value ten points does, so this page will not pretend to that resolution.
